WelcomeFounded in 1980, the Diocese of the Missouri Valley is a family of twenty-three parishes and missions currently located in Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, Texas, and Wisconsin.
As a diocese of the Anglican Church in America, we are part of the world wide Traditional Anglican Communion (TAC), an international communion of Christ's One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church.
About UsAll of our parishes and missions are orthodox and sacramental, continuing in the teaching and fellowship of the apostles and in the breaking of bread, which was established by Christ as the design for the life of the Church. As faithful stewards of the Catholic Faith in the Anglican tradition, our teaching and practice is based solely on the Holy Bible as interpreted by the universally accepted Ecumenical Councils held by the whole Christian Church before any divisions took place; and the traditional Book of Common Prayer, which demonstrates both our Catholic Faith and Evangelical witness. If you don’t find a parish or mission near you and/or you have interest in starting a mission in one of the states mentioned above or in North Dakota, Louisiana, or Oklahoma, please contact the diocesan office at (217) 223-1766. |
